![]() ![]() The goal is to make the "server connectivity" status on the Xbox Networking section of Windows 10's settings "Connected". But I decided to follow a list of things to do as advised on Xbox Windows support page. I was so close to uninstalling the game and unsub that Gamepass. Actually, I read a lot of posts from Reddit about this game having a lot of problems/issues on Windows 10. This game gave me a lot of hell to even make the online component to work during the time I subscribed to Xbox Gamepass Ultimate a month before the steam release date. If none of the above applies, please let me know if you have an Xbox devices category in Device Manager and if the wheel is in there.Originally posted by Hallouminati.:Damn dude, nice, you're one of the lucky 1% haha! Appreciate the feedback, perhaps Ill try reset steam settings and go from there but. If they're all there with no errors then you should try and reinstall DirectX to see if it helps. If any are missing or have exclamation marks next to them, then uninstall all entries (right click uninstall) then unplug/replug the wheel. HID-Compliant Vendor defined device (three of those) Click the plus sign next to it and make sure that you have the following: If you look in your Device Manager, select the View option at the top and then click Devices by Container, you should have the G923 Racing Wheel for Xbox One and PC. Given that it's present in G HUB I would expect it to be the former (or something else potentially more intrinsically broken in your Windows installation), but it's worth checking the product is correctly installed first. Possibly you have a problem with your DirectInput installation or a part of the wheel hasn't fully enumerated. You should now see UNDEFINED next to each in-game function and be able to reassign the functions on the wheel.įorza Motorsport 7 requires the same process of going to the controls menu and reassigning the in-game functions. To address this, select the keyboard or controller tab at the top of the controls menu, select Continue without saving when prompted by the game and then immediately navigate back to the Wheel tab. If it does not say this then this is a known bug in the game. In situations where people are unable to reassign the controls it’s been seen that none of the functions have that UNDEFINED indication next to them. The key indication that this is happening is that it normally says UNDEFINED next to each in-game function. Some people have reported that when they navigate to the Wheel section of the controls menu that they are unable to reassign any controls. Once you are in the car though the G923 will function. Please note that Forza Horizon 4 does not allow you to assign menu navigation functions to the wheel so you will still need to use keyboard or mouse to navigate the game menus. Forza Horizon 4 will still bring up the unrecognised controller message each time you start the title from now on but as you have now configured the G923 you can simply continue without having to set up the functions again. Once all of the functions have been assigned, save the setup by pressing the X key on the keyboard. You will need to ensure that any function with an exclamation mark next to it has been assigned to the wheel. To do this, highlight the function that you want to reassign, press the Return key on the keyboard and then move/press the part of the wheel that you want to assign to it. ![]() You can then begin reassigning the different parts of the wheel to the relevant control setting to suit your requirements. Simply select options, open the control settings and select the Wheel tab at the top. EDIT: PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE IN FH4 AS NATIVE SUPPORT WAS ADDED IN THE DECEMBER 2020 PATCH.įorza Horizon 4 will immediately present you with an unrecognised controller message when you launch the title on PC with the G923 connected. ![]()
